Bingo!

Okay, this site should have a major boredom warning stuck on it. But what to write about?.....

The Long Weekend Off Work

So, from Thursday to Tuesday I was off work. And it was fantastic. Much joy and fun was to be had.

Thursday: GRAD! Woo hoo, grad. On Thursday day I wandered around Osbourne and downtown, trying to find an appropriate gift for the wonderful graduate. Which proved arduous. And concretes my idea that graduation is not a time to give gifts, because nothing will ever be fantastic enough to represent the accomplishment of surviving through 12 years of educational hell. Whilst shopping in vain I went to go visit Katie at her work! Her office has scuff marks on the walls. Makes you wonder what the person there previously did. And to get to her office you must venture through a labarinth and answer three riddles. And break through security doors. Actually, all in all, it was quite an amusing adventure! :)
Then I went home, did some showering action, and boogied on into some make-up, hair spray, and a tight dress. I don't know what was different about my grad, but I had a MUCH better time at this grad. Maybe it was because the onus wasn't on me to be happy about succeeding, and sad about leaving. Someone else had to play those emotions this time around. Although the one saving grace of my grad was having Paul there. He really made me feel special that night. ANYWAY, the first part of grad with the dinner (woah dude, did I ever stuff myself silly!) and the speeches sped by. I think the extreme paranoia I had about flashing my bra to everyone played a vital role in the speediness. But then was the time to change into less formal attire, and party like high schoolers! The alumni that were at the grad had a nice little reunion in the washroom, which really makes me miss that all inclusive attitude that BH has. We talked about most things under the sun, and helped each other out with earrings, bra straps, make up and safety pins. Then back upstairs there was some salsa action going on, but due to the overwhelming number of drink idiotic St Paul's boys I decided to decline. Trying to dance with them might have proven fatal. There wasn't anything really specific that stood out about the after-grad, except that the food was fantastic, and the casino was a blast. I totally kicked ass. AND then I got to play dealer, and my table was the "no one ever loses table". Lemme tell you, people were flocking from miles away to see my mad dealer skillz. Then, at about 4:30, I finally went home. Nearly dead.

Friday: Don't remember much of it. I slept through about 95% of it, and for the other 5% I probably did something not very exciting. If anyone remembers, can you let me know? :D

Saturday: Christina's surprise party occured that I was not informed of prior to jumping out and surprising bit, but Paul and I, once alerted, dashed on over. And it was, as proclaimed, a good time. It was held in a loft in the Exchange and I am Jealous of the owner. The place was so insanely cool. High gorgeous ceilings, a studio, and this cool balcony inside that housed the main living area. I can't do it justice with my warbled description, but it was, in essence, my dream home. I should have taken photos of the place, I tell ya! If anyone wants to buy me a loft, I shan't stop you. I get shivers from thinking about my future living in a place like that.

Wow.

Hmmm.... so I've been at work for about 90 minutes but haven't yet accomplished anything. This is a predicament. So, in the interests of not getting fired, I shall continue the update at a later date.

later days
