I was in Toronto in February for an EWB conference on Sustainable Development. (Which allowed me to miss my first Therm midterm *score*) Anyway, during my time there, it was Paul and my official anniversary. It was after a long and tedious day at the conference, with people talking in circles, and a previous evening of beer and Irish music hanging over my head, that I walked into my hotel room. Sitting on the nightstand was a gorgeous arrangment of vibrant flowers from which wafted a wonderous scent. They were so beautiful. I looked at the tag, and they were for me. It was exactly from a scene in a movie. There was no one else in the room, and all I could do was grin ridiculously, and float. I felt so special.
