sitting in the eye of the storm
First things first, sorry about the Dana thing, and I apologize to Kate for any uncomfortableness her resulting comments may have got her! *hug* Not my intention, dear. The whole situation has gotten far more coverage and public service announcements than it deserves, so Jane's mouth is shut forever more. *hears cheers resounding* Today is a day of serious flurries. I feel like I'm in a snow globe, with all these snow flakes dancing around me (of course by me, I mean my house, because I'm not quite ridiculous enough to stand outside). It's amazingly mesmerizing to watch because there is no order to their pattern, and how they fall. And a sudden change in wind, a flap of a bird's wing, or a sneeze from down the street could change their path. Unfortunately, having a personal snow globes also means that the world outside is dark and foreboding, which scares me into submission for the majority of the day. I wonder what I shall be scared of today....... AHAHAH!!! Physics lab!! Dammit, I knew there was something - guess I just wanted to live in my own dreamworld of fairytales and knights that would slay the Evil Dragon Of Physics Labs. Yesterday was rather mediocre, save a package I got in the mail! It was a "care package" from my high school, that I presume they send out each year to the nearly graduated class. It involved writing utensils, candy, pop corn and a clay facr mask thing. Quite a sweet gesture, if I do say so myself. Put a smile on my face, anyway. :) OH OH OH!! And then another wonderful thing happened yesterday - Paul brought me Slices pizza (*drool*) last night at about 10. Now that shows true devotion, to bring someone pizza late at night, then proceed to talk about nothing, and do anything to prevent work on Physics. Gentlemen, make sure you take notes, pizza is surely the way to a girl's heart, and paying for it yourself and BRINGING it to her, makes your intentions most definitely clear. (Hey, I should write an article on how to get a girl to swoon..... fuck all that chocolate and roses shit, make it pizza and beer!! I know at -least- 7 girls who would support this change to courtship) Now that I've wasted my morning writing this drivel, I shall go back to bed and read. 3 more hours to school, and I'm intending to waste them all!! later days, js |
