move me in a way I've never known
Okay, working backwards...... Sunday morning - filling forms and arranging life. A tad taxing. I fucked around all yesterday, so today shall be my day of productiveness (hopefully). I spent the morning in bed reading (although none of the books that both Katie and Kyla have lent me... I am getting on those though!!). Had a shit breakfast too, which didn't put me in a fabulous mood. Saturday evening - fun and games and pain with spongee. God, that sport hurts like a bitch. And it's cold!! OH SO FUCKING COLD!! Australians aren't meant to participate in such sports. Seriously now, we play cricket. Cricket is the fat and lazy man's sport. The worst that can happen is a slight sun burn, and maybe standing sores (like bed sores, but standing) from not doing anything! Or we sit in front of the tv watching rugby drinking beer. WE DON'T FREAKING RUN AROUND ON SLIPPERY ICE ALL NIGHT. *shakes head* crack head Canadians. Although, I will say that watching people get strapped into the goalie paddy things was hilarious! No, it's not a gay (literally) sport at all! Saturday day - as mention above, I fucked around. I spent a good million hours trying to change my template, by which time I passed the HTML baton onto Martin because I was about to hit many, many things out of frustration. But, of course, he figured it out because he is Martin. So all is well on that front. Also talked to Dana on MSN, and hopefully everything is sorted out. There has been a lot of confusion lately about our "status"..... give us three months of not talking or seeing each other, and I'm sure we'll be out of this rut. At least, I fucking hope we are, I'm sick and tired of talking about it now. Friday evening - fun and games WITHOUT (much) pain at Section Eight. Good time place. It was fairly small and intimate, which made for a "house party" type feel, but with a cool house and bar tenders! It was the end of campaign party, and although we lost, we sure partied it up like we should be winners. :) I'm really proud of Paulo, Smac and Dana - they went through a lot of stuff during election time, and I don't know that I would have stayed quite so sane as they did. I really love that type of thing though... I love musical and fashion show, where we'd stay at school superbly late, and just joke around. That was what the past week was, and even the excruciating pain of counting ballots was fun in the end. It's cool to be in the know. My one regret from that night was that I was unable to go to Chris's bday party. I've hardly talked to the kid lately, and I miss him! And I know that I probably would have burst something from laughing so hard if I went. However, *kiss* congrats on survive 18 dear, and I promise to book off March 4th next year. :) .... well, I was going to go back furthur in time, but I don't remember what happened. The past week has been a blur of late nights, university, skipping class, physics labs, laughing, coffee, slurpees and good talks. *feeling nostalgic* later days
