a post of fun and more fun
Hi all, Well, last week was rather eventful. First of all, Paul and I broke up and got back together. It was a rather turmoltuous time, but I'm glad it's over. I do really care for him, and I think it was about time I had a reality check and stopped being a demanding bitch. Now it's awesome, it's like we share a brain (not in a manner of siamese twins joined by the head, or Frankenstein-like experiment gone wrong). Now I just have to come up with some freakin' Valentine's Day gift ideas (Ky, I know you are good with these, care to share?). I was thinking, in line with the whole Pi-Throw idea, to have a pie with a love heart in the center to smoke him with - good idea? Two, Kyla and I are friends again! :) Not that we weren't ever not friends, but we are talking more, which makes me estatic because she is the ying to my yang (not in a dirty, perverse way). She is an awesome person and I love her for forever, although her love will always be (mis)directed towards her boy-toy instead of me. *sob* (By the by, I'm reading Fences and Windows, and shall return to you when done!) Three, I saw Kate for the second time since I've known her! -Awesome- girl, although her crushes seem to be a little misplaced. :P I really enjoy talking to her, and once uber craziness settles down, we shall go driving and chatting. I wish her the best with everything. Four, excitingness with Lisa! Except I can't say anything *keeps mouth shut*. But -so- happy for her. I'm glad life rocks so much. :) And, this boy knows the true value of commitment, unlike some ass fuckers and the chicks they hang out with. *cough* Five, more excitingness, but now with Katie! Except, again, I can't really say much. However, I can say that Katie is one of my best friends now. And I'm so glad that she is happy. I have the utmost confidence in this girl, and I'd trust her with my life, and my physics education (which are practically equivalent). *hug* Good luck dear. (I also still have your book, but haven't started it yet...... well, I read 2 pages, but I'm getting there!) Six, Chris, cool people of all cool people. I missed you dear. And your whole "giving due props" blog entry encouraged me to write this. :) I promise you time very soon, and you can make me laugh lots. Three cheers for laughing! Seven, I have a Calc midterm in about 72 hours and have decided to update instead of studying. Yay for me and my priorities! Eight, went to EWB conference, and met some -really- awesome people. There were also astoundingly cool and awesome speakers, and I'm full throttle on this whole "good-doing" thing now. I'm chock full of ideas, some feasible, and others not so much, but I really hope that this energy doesn't dissipate before I have a chance to do something. Eight point five (since it has to do with EWB), also got to know MB EWB delegation. Todd is our VP Finance and a total upstanding dude. We had great talks. I believe I shall invite him to this blog, so everyone please wave and say HI! I love having friends from all levels of Engineering, because it really gives a perspective of the big Engg picture, not just my tiny first year box. -AND- he is going to help me with Thermo, which is really the only reason I hang out with him. :P No, I'm a full supporter of Todd. Hmmmm........ what else? Nought I can think of. But I plan to soon update with some ideas from the conference, and future ideas. I'm sort of getting some idea (although still rather blurry) of what I want to do in the future. Actually, that's such a lie, I'm still floundering in the depths of unknowingness. But I think I see a water wing that I can use. :) Anyway dears, I'm off to try to study for this midterm. Wish me luck!! js |
