Tutoring is making me go insane-y. We were doing sin curves, and apparently in applied sin curves only have one wavelength..... that's it. Doesn't continue on. Nada mass. Okay, I can deal with that flawed, flawed fact.

So, we are doing shifts, and in the form y = a sin (bx + c) + d, c and d are the shifts right? So those two values should be where this "one wavelength" sin wave should start, right? So I ask "what is the start point of this curve?" And she says "y" and I say "how many values do we have for a starting POINT?" and she says "x" and I say "PO-INT" and she says "d" and I say "do we need a x and a y value? Yes, I think we do" and she says "zero and zero?" (when we JUST talked about shifts being the new starting point). Anyway, this continued of for a good long, loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong ten minutes before she finally got it.

*shakes head* I hate my life.
