WOW EXCITMENT!

After searching for my whole life in Winnipeg for the Four Weddings and a Funeral soundtrack, I found it in Canberra!!! There were like seventeen copies! This confirms my belief that Canadians have no musical taste and would prefer to stock the cd aisles with Hilary Duff and other pop divas with more pounds of silicon than fat.

I also got a Greatest Hits of The Corrs. I really like their sound. Especially the slow ballads with the strong Celtic rhythum. Except they are mostly mushy songs, which makes me sad, because I'm here alone. *pity votes please!*

So the funeral is tomorrow. There is a viewing before hand, and I want to go to lend support to my mum. I wish she was taking this better - but I guess her emotions aren't my call. This trip has been an experience in learning that my parents aren't invincible. Or even logical and rational. Ugh, I'm feeling confused. And confined. I have no way of getting anywhere, and I no longer know anyone here. Talk about a shitty ass holiday.....

Nay, I shouldn't complain!! I'm in Australia..... I love my position right now. I've been thinking a lot about the future, and I want to set up some sort of planage for the next few years, to make sure I do what I want to do and be where I want to be with who I want to be. If that made sense.
